This morning I received several notifications asking about the tequila tasting for tonight, unfortunately we no longer have places available, we sold out.

The Tequila tasting is very special for us and the charge of $40 per person does not reflect what you are going to taste, for tonight we have 10 tequilas of the highest quality and some of them are expensive and difficult to find due to the high demand and low availability in the state of Ohio.

I mention all this because the Number JUAN Tequila tasting & Dinner next Wednesday will be a unique and unrepeatable experience due to everything we are doing to have this unique event.

The entire kitchen team with the guidance of my wife Lupita and my daughter Pita are creating a unique 6-course meal experience pairing with 4 cocktails. All food and cocktails PREPARED with Number Juan Tequila at the request of the founder and owner Alex Reymundo who will be present to promote his show at Toledo Funny Bone the next day.

A client asked me, Carlos, what is birria? And I was surprised that he didn't know because it is very popular at the moment. First let’s start with Birria. Hailing from Jalisco, Mexico, birria is a rich stew that’s typically made with lamb or beef (we made beef). It’s traditionally served in a consomé broth along with a mixture of cilantro and white onion. There are no tacos involved! Birria is truly the best – it’s so delicious on a cold day.
